Can we pay for our first 100 paintballs on the day?
No. When you make your telephonic or online booking you are required to pay for your first 100 paintballs per player in advance.
This is to ensure that we know that all paintball players will attend on the day, and allows our trained professionals to organise a great day of paintballing for you and your friends at our paintballing site.
As some of our paintball sites do include a free lunch for you and your friends, we know how many people we will need to cater for, as well as to how many paintball marshals your paintball game will require.
How many paintballs do we need?
The average amount of paintballs you might use is about 500-600 paintballs for the day per player, depending on how trigger happy you are!
Ministry of paintball provides you with 100 paintballs for each player once you have made your booking.
When you have arrived at the paintball site you can purchase additional paintballs at a reasonable cost. Some of our sites do offer discounted prices for paintballs when you buy paintballs in bulk.
Can we take our own paintballs?
No, unfortunately you are not allowed to take your own paintballs to any of the paintball sites listed on ministry of paintball.
Due to health and safety reasons you must only use the paintballs provided at the site on the day.
Once of the reasons we also do this is because of time management. It would take all day to check the paintballs of every single paintball player that brought paintballs for themselves!
Do the paintball sites open 7 days a week?
Yes, all our paintball sites are open 7 days a week; however some paintball sites will only open during the week if a minimum number of people are booked to play.
You can check the minimum number of people required for your choice by enquiring with the ministry of paintball booking office.
Most sites do require a minimum of 40 people or more if you wish to play a paintball game during the week
Is there a minimum / maximum age limit?
There is no maximum age limit for paintballing, however all paintball sites do have a minimum age limit if you wish to play paintball.
Each Paintball Site does vary with the required minimum age; however the majority of our paintball sites do have a minimum age of 12 years old.
It would be best to check the minimum age limit required for your choice of paintball site by giving our booking office a phone call or by browsing through our website.
Should parents stay on paintball site with children?
Ministry of Paintball a vast number of paintball sites, and each paintball site has its own specific requirements.
Certain sites do require parents / guardians to be present at the paintball site, but a vast majority at our sites only requires parents to sign a parental guardian certificate.
Can I arrive later than the given time?
No, players that arrive late at any of our paintball sites will miss the safety briefing.
It is important that you are at our paintball sites at the specified time given to you when we confirm your paintball booking, as this is when kit is issued and the safety briefing is given.
There is one safety briefing each day, and if you miss out on the safety briefing you will probably miss out on your day of paintballing, as you will not be allowed to play.
When should we make our paintball booking?
We recommend that you book at least 2 weeks in advance when you wish to play paintball. Our website only allows you to book for your paintballing day 2 weeks from the today's date.
If you wish to book for your paintballing within this 2 week time period, please call our booking office as we will always try our best to accommodate your requirements where possible.
How long does a paintballing day last?
A typical paintballing day will require you to arrive at your chosen paintball site at 9am, or the time given to you when we confirmed your booking.
Your paintballing day will last till about 4:30pm in the afternoon, or until the time of your paintballing session is over.
All outdoor sites provide a full day of paintball.
What time do we have to be at the paintball site?
The majority of paintball sites require you to be there by 9am, however paintball sites do vary, so check the arrival time for your choice of site with our booking office or on our website.
It is important for you to arrive at specified time given to you when we confirm your booking, as this is when kit is issued and the safety briefing is given.
Due to health and safety regulations players who miss the safety briefing will not be allowed to play.
What happens if we are late at our paintball site?
You must be at your chosen paintball site at the time stipulated as it is important that you are there for the safety briefing and the issuing of your combat gear, paintball marker and paintballs.
Unfortunately late arrivals will not be able to play as the games will already be in progress, and due to health and safety regulations players who miss the safety briefing will not be allowed to play.
Do we still play paintball if it is raining?
Yes, paintball is an all weather sport so you must attend, come rain or shine!
Paintball in rain is awesome fun so leave your umbrella at home and bring some good sturdy footwear.
You shouldn't have to worry about your clothing as you are issued with paintball kit.
Is there an area at the paintball site for spectators?
Some of our paintball sites do have an area for spectators, but safety issues make it difficult to provide an area where you can view the entire game without risk of stray paintballs.
What happens if a paintball player does not turn up?
If a paintball player cannot attend for any reason we will allow them to play on another occasion for a small administration fee if, and only if, they notify us outside of 1 week before the day of their paintball event.
If a paintball player does not attend without notifying us inside the given period they will lose their pre-payment and are no longer entitled to their 1st 100 paintballs. Paintballs are strictly nontransferable.
If players don't attend can I have their 100 paintballs?
No, players who fail to attend on the day lose their 1st 100 paintballs and these paintballs are strictly nontransferable.
No, players ho fail to attend on the day will also lose their pre-payment and are no longer entitled to their 1st 100 paintballs.
These paintballs nontransferable and nonrefundable.
Can I use my own paintball equipment?
Yes, most paintball sites will allow you to use your own paintball equipment.
The marshals will inspect your paintball equipment and decide whether it is suitable to use at their paintball site. Their decision is final!
Do children need adults to sign disclaimers for them?
Yes, all paintball players under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian to sign a disclaimer for them.
Some paintball sites also require parents / guardians to be present at the paintball site during the day that you will be playing paintball.
Is poof of age required for children at the paintball site?
No, it's the responsibility of the parent/guardian to be truthful about the age of the paintball player.
If they are under the minimum age required by that particular paintball site then insurance is null and void.
Do all paintball sites offer bulk buy on paintballs?
Many of our paintball sites do offer a discount when you buy paintballs in bulk, however some paintball sites only sell paintballs in tubes of 100.
It would be best to check with our booking office or on our website for prices of additional paintballs at your chosen site.
What kind of clothing/footwear do we wear on the day?
Obviously it depends on the weather, but we recommend you bring layers of warm comfortable clothes so that you can wear as much, or as little as the weather demands.
Remember you are provided with camouflage overalls that you will wear on top of your existing clothes. Also bring sturdy but comfortable footwear; this is not a highheel occasion!
What do we need to bring with us to the paintball site?
You must bring you or entry paintball tickets with you to be presented on the day to the paintball site.
Some suitable clothing depending on the weather, as well as some sturdy and comfortable footwear, and a great sense of adventure!
Do paintball sites have storage for valuables?
Some of our paintball sites do have storage facilities for valuables but we recommend that you bring the least amount of valuables.
Some of our paintball sites that do not offer storage facilities will not take responsibility for any valuables that you decide to bring.
Do paintball sites have showers?
Some of our paintball sites do have showers facilities, but not all them.

Do your paintball sites cater for vegetarians?
Yes, most of our paintball sites that do include lunch do cater for vegetarians.
When you make our booking we will ask you how many vegetarians there will be in your group, that way we know how many vegetarians we will need to cater for.
Do paintball sites accept credit cards?
Yes, all of our paintball sites are equipped with credit card facilities.
Most major credit cards are accepted at the paintball site.
Can we take alcohol on site to the paintball site?
No you are not allowed to take alcohol to the paintball site.
Consumption of alcohol is strictly not allowed at any of our paintball sites. Anybody found to have had alcohol before or during the day will be sent home without exception.
How do I get to the paintball site via public transport?
Due to the nature of where most paintball sites are situated not all of our sites are accessible via public transport.
We do provide you with directions to our paintball sites when you make a booking.
Can I leave the paintball game early?
On the day you will be organized into paintball teams. If your group decides to leave early it will generally spoil the day for others.
Please have consideration for other groups of players. You would't leave a football match in the middle of the game.
How many players are there on a paintball team?
Most outdoor games are played with 16 paintball players on each side.
Indoor games vary from 8-16 paintball players per side.
Will I be able to play on the same team as my friend?
Yes you should be able to play paintball on the same team as your friend. We always try to organize paintball teams so that everyone is happy.
Your paintball day usually contains different games scenarios, if you are unable to play with your friend in the first paintball game, we might be able to arrange it for the next paintball game.
How can we pay for additional paintballs on the day?
Additional paintballs can be purchased at the paintball site on the day of the event with cash or via credit card.
Some of our paintball sites sell paintballs in bulk, and others only sell them at 100 paintballs at a time.
Can I play paintball for half a day only?
Most of our paintball sites only offer a full day of paintballing, however please be aware that any paintball sites that provide a half day of paintball will not supply lunch.
To find out whether your choice of site offers half day paintball sessions, check at the paintball site you selected when you make your booking.
What does lunch consist of when I play paintball?
Lunches vary with each paintball site. You may find out what lunch is provided at the paintball site you selected when you make your booking.
Please be aware that any paintball sites that provide a half day of paintballing will not supply lunch.
Is there a limit to how many people can book?
No, bring as many people as you want but please remember that all paintball bookings are subject to availability.
